What's a typical day as Talent Acquisition Specialist?
You'll be:
- Planning, coordinating, and hosting career talks, both in-house and with external partners such as employment centers and vocational institutions
- Supporting HR Advisors in talent acquisition for stores and business units, organizing job fairs, and participating in interviews as needed
- Collaborating with hiring managers to assess and monitor hiring needs, developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies
- Coordinating recruitment advertising and employer promotion across various platforms to attract qualified candidates
- Designing and executing employer branding strategies for long-term recruitment success
- Engaging in full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, applicant screening, interviewing, referencing, offers, onboarding, and new hire orientation
- Responding courteously and promptly to job inquiries from multiple channels
- Collecting and maintaining recruitment documentation and records
- Contributing to talent acquisition and HR-related projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Are bilingual in English and Mandarin or Cantonese
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
- Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or HR generalist roles (retail or grocery environment experience preferred)
- Possess hands-on experience with social media recruitment, digital advertising, and multi-platform employer promotion
- Have strong knowledge of U.S. federal and California employment laws (wage & hour, anti-discrimination, equal employment opportunity); additional jurisdictional knowledge is a plus
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, professionalism, active listening, and patience with candidates and stakeholders
- Are familiar with U.S. work authorization processes (employment eligibility, visa sponsorship)
- Are proactive, highly organized, able to multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Enjoy working in a team-oriented setting with individuals from diverse backgrounds at all organizational levels
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Pay
$70,000 - $80,000 per year
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
