Talent Acquisition Specialist
About the role
Foster CM Group, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced, results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist in the San Antonio, Austin, or Dallas area with experience in identifying, recruiting, and selecting the best qualified candidates in the A/E/C industry, specifically the Project Management/Construction Management consulting industry.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage and facilitate the full life-cycle talent acquisition process across multiple offices.
- Partner with managers to understand workforce planning and staffing needs.
- Develop recruiting strategies for technical and professional positions.
- Assist in developing detailed job descriptions and screening questions specific to positions.
- Place advertisements and job postings.
- Screens candidates to ensure qualifications meet requirements.
- Clock in scheduling interviews with potential candidates.
- Proactively source and maintain a pipeline of external candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Zip Recruiter, employee referrals, and trade associations.
- Work with senior leadership to develop and maintain a recruiting budget to include tracking metrics.
- Maintain an applicant tracking system in real time with candidate information.
- Generate reports to communicate talent acquisition performance efforts.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or related field preferred.
- Seven years of relevant work experience may be substituted for education.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience managing full-cycle recruitment process.
- Experience recruiting for the following roles in the A/E/C industry: Program Manager, Project Manager, Construction Manager, Project Controls, Document Controls, Construction Inspections, and other related roles.
- Demonstrated corporate and/or staffing agency experience with direct and contract hiring.
- Strong computer skills and demonstrated ability with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Experience with Application Tracking Systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting in the A/E/C professional consulting industry.
Work Schedule and Location
Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Depending on location, this position is an in-person position but remote/work from home may be considered.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Communicate in person, via telephone, and email.
- Use of arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, multi-limb coordination, oral expression, and comprehension.
- May be required to lift, carry, and move objects safely.
- Occasionally may adhere to extended periods of standing, walking and talking.
