Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our Talent Acquisition team. This role supports the growth of Dorman's manufacturing and operations, working in a hybrid setting with onsite support at our Warsaw, KY and Madison, IN facilities.

Primary Duties

  • Partner with hiring managers to develop sourcing strategies and execute on these strategies.
  • Sources candidates using recruitment best practices, including optimization of search engines, social networks, recruiting research, candidate generation, candidate experience, and relationship management.
  • Develops recruiting materials to attract qualified candidates.
  • Coordinates a structured interview process to ensure candidates are interviewed, assessments are completed, and they are worked through the hiring process.
  • Evaluates candidate responses during the interview process.
  • Manages support processes for Talent Acquisition, including background checks, drug screening, and pre-employment testing, and coordinates hiring-related administrative processes.
  • Makes employment recommendations and compiles employment offers.
  • Prepares requisitions in partnership with compensation and obtains necessary approvals to begin the recruiting process.
  • Tracks proposed metrics around recruiting activities and conducts trend analysis to make recommendations for change.
  • Participates in recruitment and selection research projects and recommends process changes to increase candidate flow.
  • Effectively describes the offer, manages expectations, overcomes objections, and closes candidates.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to support an innovative, fast-growing environment.
  • Solid understanding of using social media to recruit.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with behavioral interviewing.
  • Excellent business acumen and negotiation skills that preserve relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-rounded recruiting experience, both technical and non-technical.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop consultative relationships.
  • Robust interpersonal skills with supervisor and staff populations.
  • Strong computer literacy skills with the Microsoft Office Suite.

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred, or equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in full lifecycle recruiting.

Compensation

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $65,400.00 to $95,200.00.
  • The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity.
  • As a Dorman US contributor, you (and eligible dependents, as applicable) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid time off (sick/vacation), and Paid Parental Leave.
  • You are also eligible for a bonus and can participate in our 401k retirement plan (with company match and profit-sharing) and Discounted Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
