Summary Of Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for operations and corporate staff positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR business partners to develop effective recruiting strategies and hiring plans.
  • Sources and engages qualified talent through networking, referrals, social media, online databases, and proactive outreach.
  • Screens, interviews, and evaluates candidates through phone, virtual, and in-person interviews.
  • Builds and maintains talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Utilizes Workday, SmashFly CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruiting tools to identify, track, and engage candidates.
  • Prepares and extends employment offers while ensuring a positive and professional candidate experience.
  • Coordinates pre-employment activities, including background checks and medical examinations.
  • Serves as a brand ambassador by promoting Cleveland-Cliffs at hiring events, career fairs, and community recruiting initiatives.
  • Maintains consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting and onboarding process.
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives and other Talent Acquisition projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Two or more years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a corporate, agency, or high-volume recruiting environment.
  • Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, OFCCP compliance, and EEO regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with recruiting technologies and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work onsite five days per week in West Chester, Ohio.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting for a combination of hourly operations, skilled trades, maintenance, production, engineering, and corporate staff positions.
  • Recruiting experience within manufacturing, industrial, mining, metals, construction, logistics, energy, or other heavy industry environments.
  • Strong sourcing experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, resume databases, social media platforms, employee referrals, and proactive networking techniques.
  • Experience recruiting for hard-to-fill, high-volume, or geographically challenging roles.
  • Experience developing talent pipelines and passive candidate sourcing strategies.
  • Workday Recruiting experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience utilizing SmashFly CRM or similar candidate relationship management platforms.
  • Familiarity with OFCCP compliance, affirmative action recruiting, and diversity sourcing initiatives.
