About the role
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, and engaging candidates to fill open positions across multiple locations. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Sources and screens candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, and recruitment agencies.
- Conducts initial phone screenings and interviews to assess candidate fit and suitability for open positions.
- Develops and implements effective recruitment strategies to meet hiring targets and company goals.
- Collaborates with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop targeted job postings.
- Manages the entire recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring timely and efficient placement of candidates.
- Works closely with HRIS to maintain accurate candidate records and ensure compliance with legal standards.
- Continuously improves recruitment processes through data analysis and feedback from hiring managers and candidates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in talent acquisition or related field.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data management.
Qualifications
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter or similar platforms.
- Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
