Talent Acquisition Specialist - $36-$38/hr - Alexandria, VA

Our client, a professional membership association in Alexandria, Virginia, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis with potential for extension.

About the role

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for full-time, part-time, contract, temporary, and intern positions
• Source, screen, coordinate interviews, conduct background checks, prepare offers, and support onboarding
• Build candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing and social media recruiting
• Partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies and meet hiring goals
• Lead new hire onboarding and orientation programs
• Track recruiting metrics, prepare reports, and provide market research insights
• Collaborate with HR teams to support talent acquisition and organizational initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years of HR experience with a focus on Talent Acquisition
• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred

Pay

$36-$38/hr

Schedule

• Contract through approximately November/end of year with potential to extend
• Hybrid: 3 days onsite
• Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM or 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
