Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist
Inspira Education Group is one of the fastest-growing edtech startups in the US. We started with a simple mission to democratize access to high-quality coaching so that every student in the world has an equal opportunity to access the best opportunities. As the world’s leading network of top admissions coaches in medical, legal, business, and college studies, we’re building software and services in one place—disrupting long-entrenched application processes with products and experiences that strive to provide an equal platform for candidates from diverse backgrounds worldwide. Backed by leading venture capital firms and investors, including Zeev Ventures, Quiet Capital, Craft Ventures, and Jeff Fluhr (Founder of Stubhub), we are redefining how sourcing operates—not as a support function, but as a high-performing sales engine where every search is a targeting problem and every hire informs the next.
About the role
This role is for a seasoned sourcer who has spent years mastering proactive search craft and is ready to own the function end-to-end: partnering with hiring managers, running the most challenging searches, and building scalable playbooks. You’ll work in-office 5 days a week in NYC (Gramercy).
Responsibilities
- Design and run advanced Boolean/X-ray searches across LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms to fill hard, niche, or senior roles
- Build sharp Ideal Candidate Profiles with hiring managers, going beyond the job description
- Own sourcing pipelines across multiple concurrent roles without letting quality slip
- Run high-volume, personalized outreach and sharpen messaging based on response data
- Screen candidates before handoff to the hiring team
- Document playbooks and SOPs
- Track sourcing metrics (response rates, conversion, time-to-fill) and act on them
- Flag when a search strategy isn’t working and rebuild it, rather than just running more volume
Requirements
- 3-5 years of recruiting and sourcing experience with deep Boolean/LinkedIn Recruiter expertise
- Track record filling hard or senior roles through proactive sourcing, not just managing inbound
- Sourcing experience across multiple functions, not just one specialty
- Excellent written communication—outreach that gets responses from people who weren’t looking
- Systems thinking—you document as you go and build toward repeatable process
- Comfort owning multiple concurrent searches with real autonomy
Benefits
- Health, dental, and vision insurance (base plans 100% employer paid)
- Pre-tax benefits (FSA, DCFSA, HSA, Commuter)
- Flexible paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays
- 401(k) with company match
Pay
The targeted pay for this role is $110–120k. Actual salary depends on the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and geographic location. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive will be finalized at the offer.
