About the role

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter is responsible for full-life cycle recruitment for corporate, operational, and customer service positions. You will be responsible for sourcing, assessing, and recruiting top candidates into the organization across multiple disciplines and building and maintaining talent pipelines for future hiring. You will consult with hiring managers on all aspects of the talent acquisition process to include recruitment strategy, candidate selection, and offer presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately evaluate candidates based on contractual prerequisites, core competencies, and cultural fit.
  • Manage full life cycle recruitment efforts, as well as pipeline building and management; demonstrated experience managing requisitions across multiple disciplines.
  • Perform video interviews/phone screens to assess candidate’s aptitude; administer assessment and language testing; submit offer letters, coordinate with Security to facilitate background/security process; maintain relationships with candidates while in security phase.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Understand the market, business strategy, and priorities to build effective networks and relationships to maintain a strong pipeline of talent.
  • Manage the flow of employee referrals and candidates.
  • Compile and communicate recruiting data and metrics and ensure compliance with hiring policies, practices, and company values.
  • Proactively work with hiring managers to drive the recruitment process.
  • Use an applicant tracking system (Workday preferred) as well as LinkedIn, Indeed, and other social recruiting platforms.
  • Utilize job boards, job fairs, target-company cold-calling, employee referrals, and other sourcing channels to identify, attract, and engage qualified candidates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (an associate degree with two or more years of extra relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree, or more than four years of related experience may be substituted for a degree).
  • 3 or more years of full-cycle recruiting experience in high-volume settings, with a track record of successfully supporting multiple disciplines and talent segments.
  • Knowledge of common human resources practices, employment laws, and/or government compliance regulations that affect recruitment.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office, including Excel, Word, Teams.
  • Ability to type 45 wpm.
  • Ability to work independently in the field and exercise a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to navigate via applicant tracking systems.
  • Exceptional customer service, sourcing, and recruitment skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and push back where necessary.
  • Ability to travel to job fairs when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior government contract recruiting experience.
  • Workday Experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Schedule

This position is mission critical and essential to the ongoing operations and requires a flexible schedule to support a 24/7/365-day operation.

Security Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Security Clearance.
  • Favorable credit check.
  • Successfully pass a background investigation and drug screen.
  • May be required to pass or present specific requirements depending on the position (i.e., DOT exam, vaccinations, CPR, flu shot).

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

  • Standing/Walking/Mobility: Must have mobility to attend meetings with other managers and employees.
  • Traveling: 10% - 20%.
  • Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 0% - 10% of the time.
  • Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: 0% - 10% of the time.
  • Fine Motor Skills/Dexterity: Must be able to write, type, and use a telephone system 100% of the time.
  • Sitting: Sitting for prolonged and extended periods of time.
