About the role

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter facilitates recruitment to open positions, attracts and hires diverse, top talent. They partner with assigned departments and other areas of Human Resources to support critical, difficult, visible roles. This support includes intake sessions, design and implementation of effective and creative recruitment plans to meet current and future needs, sourcing support, candidate phone screening, forwarding of top-tiered candidates to hiring managers, and offers to securing top talent including salary negotiation. They provide recruitment services in a positive, timely, service-oriented, cost-efficient, and effective manner. This individual aligns closely with the Talent Acquisition Partner to ensure service line recruitment needs are fulfilled strategically and proactively. The Talent Acquisition Recruiter may also partner with the Talent Acquisition Associate Recruiter to provide candidate processing and/or lead generation support for these critical, difficult, visible roles. They are responsible for talent engagement strategies including talent rediscovery campaigns, attending events, sourcing, and social outreach to include but not limited to college and program engagement. They are responsible for providing and analyzing department and recruiter data and leveraging critical thinking skills to recommend solutions to customers. They participate in Talent Acquisition projects and committees and positively represent the Mayo brand to candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate recruitment to open positions, attract and hire diverse, top talent.
  • Partner with assigned departments and other areas of Human Resources to support critical, difficult, visible roles.
  • Support recruitment efforts through intake sessions, design and implementation of effective and creative recruitment plans, sourcing support, candidate phone screening, forwarding of top-tiered candidates to hiring managers, and offers to securing top talent including salary negotiation.
  • Provide recruitment services in a positive, timely, service-oriented, cost-efficient, and effective manner.
  • Align closely with the Talent Acquisition Partner to ensure service line recruitment needs are fulfilled strategically and proactively.
  • Potentially partner with the Talent Acquisition Associate Recruiter to provide candidate processing and/or lead generation support for critical, difficult, visible roles.
  • Engage in talent rediscovery campaigns, attend events, source, and engage in social outreach including college and program engagement.
  • Provide and analyze department and recruiter data, and leverage critical thinking skills to recommend solutions to customers.
  • Participate in Talent Acquisition projects and committees and positively represent the Mayo brand to candidates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required or 5 years recruitment experience preferably with one year in a hospital setting.
  • Prefer the following certifications: Professional in Human Resources (PHR); Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR); Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR); Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP); Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP); Recruiter Academy Certified Recruiter (RACR); Physician/Provider Recruitment Professional (CPRP); or certifications issued by Human Capital Institute (HCI).

Schedule Details

Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. This is a hybrid position and must be located within 100 miles of a Mayo Clinic campus for onsite expectations approximately 2 days per week.
