About the role
This position is well suited for individuals beginning their recruiting career or those with transferable experience who are looking to grow into a recruiting role. The position requires strong communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and conduct preliminary interviews with potential candidates.
- Coordinate site interviews with the appropriate hiring manager to select qualified candidates for project-specific requirements.
- Make contingent employment offers in accordance with federal and state legal requirements.
- Manage assigned employment requisitions, including reviewing, editing, and obtaining final approval of completed requisitions.
- Track and report staffing plan data using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software programs or databases.
- Build and update job descriptions based on project requirements and scope of work.
- Coordinate and conduct redeployment initiatives, including proactive communication with employees before anticipated assignment end dates.
- Conduct the operational and administrative portions of the hiring process.
- Coordinate background checks, drug screens, health screens, employment paperwork, and site-specific requirements.
- Support Form I-9 and E-Verify compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of experience in customer service, administration, internships, or other transferable experience.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Customer service mindset with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and technology.
- Excellent people skills, including collaboration, communication, presentation, and team-building skills.
- Demonstrated reliability and a stable work history.
