Department And Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Department, as a part of the HR Department, is uniquely positioned to make an impact on the future of Daifuku Intralogistics for years to come. We source for talent in many areas including Manufacturing/Shop, Technical and Residential Support, Field Service, Engineering, Corporate Services, and more. Additionally, we create University and Community Partnerships in our attempts to both experienced and entry-level positions in many areas of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts full life-cycle internal/external recruiting to fill staff openings by utilizing creative sourcing methods, screening, and recommending placement.
  • Develops and proposes monthly, quarterly, and annual hiring plans in close partnership with Management.
  • Provides back-up support to the HRBP Team.
  • Creates and manages job postings in iCIMS or other ATS.
  • Sources candidates using multiple methods and tools.
  • Manages the internal transfer process, including screening, coordinating interviews with hiring managers, and issuing transfer offer letters.
  • Presents employment offers, including information on compensation, benefits, and non-competition agreements.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, including Affirmative Action plan compliance.
  • Retains recruitment documentation according to company policy.
  • Builds and maintains partnerships internally and with colleges, community organizations, trade schools, military/veteran groups, and peer companies to build a talented, diverse talent pipeline.
  • Identifies and develops process changes, as needed, across all areas of recruitment.
  • Provides back-up HR support as required.
  • Travels locally and regionally between 5-10%.

Requirements

  • Local to Hobart, IN.
  • Experience in the Material Handling Industry.
  • Experience in Recruiting within Manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with appropriate corporate recruiting practices for exempt and non-exempt openings.
  • Proficiency with iCIMS or other ATS.
  • Proficiency in multiple sourcing methods and tools.
  • Effective Hiring Manager and Candidate relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of Full-Cycle Recruitment processes, including Sourcing, Interviewing, Candidate Evaluation, Negotiating, inboarding, and Onboarding.
  • Creative problem-solving and willingness to learn new processes, techniques, and technologies.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or other spreadsheet software.
  • Knowledge of corporate recruiting best practices.
  • Priority Management skills to work independently and make sound decisions and recommendations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of combined Talent Acquisition and recruiting experience.

Skills

  • Profound understanding of corporate recruiting best practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or other spreadsheet software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with iCIMS or other ATS.
  • Experience with various sourcing methods and tools.
  • Experience with Full-Cycle Recruitment processes.
