About the role

As a mid-level Talent Acquisition Partner II, you will source, attract, and hire top talent for the organization. This position involves conducting advanced candidate evaluations, collaborating with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. You will use data and analytics to influence talent decisions and enhance recruitment processes.

This is a contract hourly position.

Responsibilities

  • Source, attract, and engage qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and screenings of candidates' resumes, applications, and interviews to assess their fit for open positions.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies in collaboration with hiring managers and HR business partners.
  • Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment by actively seeking and engaging candidates from diverse backgrounds.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Provide a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear and timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Utilize data and analytics to inform and improve recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Assist in onboarding new hires and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University.
  • 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition or a related field.
  • Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of related experience is required.
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a quality candidate pipeline, and providing a high level of client service.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively cross-functionally.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to accurately and positively represent SNC to the job market.
  • Foundational knowledge of AI tools relevant to daily recruiting tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Certification in HR or Talent Acquisition (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, AIRS).
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
  • Experience with Candidate Relationship Management Systems (CRM).
  • Experience with salary negotiation and closing candidates.
  • Demonstrated consultative and solution-oriented approach to recruitment search engagements.
  • Experience with technical recruiting.
  • Experience working in a service-focused organization of comparable size and complexity.
  • Experience with Workday ATS and Beamery CRM.

Essential Functions

  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations, and illegal drug use.
