Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct strategy sessions with hiring managers to understand position requirements and business needs.
  • Consult on sourcing strategies, internal talent, and external market trends, aligning expectations related to the hiring process.
  • Execute the hiring process from sourcing to selection, focusing on quality.
  • Recommend a slate of qualified candidates for interviews and consult with the hiring manager or team on final selection.
  • Schedule and conduct interviews as needed.
  • Administer pre-employment tests and check references when required.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to recommend compensation proposals.
  • Understand and partner with the Compensation team on current and future compensation offerings and market data.
  • Compile and communicate decline reasons to stakeholders.
  • Extend and negotiate offers to finalists.
  • Communicate the value of the organization as an employer of choice, including the business, position, benefits, culture, and values, and future career opportunities.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management.
  • Leverage technology and tools to facilitate the hiring process, providing technical support to applicants and managers as needed.
  • Recommend process, system, or tool enhancements to create efficiencies and outstanding candidate and hiring manager experiences.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with quality and specialized applicants to build future talent pipelines.
  • Be a talent ambassador on social media by promoting the organization, brand, and career opportunities.
  • Execute recruiting strategies to attract strong Native American talent.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in specialty areas such as social media strategies, college relations, and/or technology platforms.
  • Stay informed about developments in wages and salaries, team member and employee benefits, Gaming Enterprise policies and procedures, employment and labor law, talent acquisition best practices, and current recruiting trends and activities.
