The Talent Acquisition Partner will work with hiring managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the workforce and to recruit the best talent for current and upcoming opportunities. Essential Functions

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and prospective talent to develop relationships as a true Talent Acquisition Business Partner; guide and coach hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and applicants are assessed against appropriate criteria, and to maximize the effectiveness of the recruiting process.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their business and recruitment needs, including long-term talent pipelining needs, and fill their open positions promptly.
  • Responsible for full life cycle recruiting process for identified roles, partnering with leaders across the organization for exempt and non-exempt positions; manage candidates through the entire interview and hiring process, from assessing candidate qualifications to negotiating offers and managing pre-employment requirements and onboarding.
  • Effectively utilize and maintain all pertinent applicant and interview documentation and data in the applicant tracking system.
  • Develop recruitment strategies to include internet job boards, networking, resume mining, social networking, campaigns, internal transfers, and other channels to attract a diverse pool of candidates utilizing the most cost-effective methods and techniques to meet staffing levels; partner with marketing team as needed.
  • Will lead a special project such as the employee referral program, third-party staffing agency program, campus recruiting program (including high schools, colleges, and trade schools), or recruitment marketing projects.
  • Actively participate in all staffing-related activities and engage in cross-functional projects.
  • Assist in meeting affirmative action, equal opportunity, and diversity recruitment goals.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years in a prior recruiting or talent acquisition role is required.
  • Prior experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Human Resources or related field; a combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Strong customer focus and effective use of a consultative approach with internal clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with senior-level executives, hiring managers, and candidates.
  • Capable of handling extremely confidential and sensitive information.
  • Self-starter with a curious mindset, capable of assessing situations and prospective talent to identify potential job matches.
  • Ability to work within a team environment with a collaborative approach and independently with minimal supervision on assignments.
  • Skilled at multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent ability to learn and follow recruitment-related compliance regulations.
  • Ability to source resumes from multiple sources and conduct internet research preferred.
  • Good understanding of the recruitment cycle from start to end.
  • Possess proficient computer skills (including MS Office/Word/Outlook) and skilled with web-based software and social media platforms.
  • Partner with the corporate talent acquisition team, who will post and source on the job requisitions.
  • Seek support as needed to ensure all facets of the recruiting and hiring process are completed accurately.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $58,000-$95,000 / year, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
