Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Partner serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders and hiring managers, driving full-cycle recruitment and workforce planning initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for attracting, assessing, and securing top talent while partnering closely with leadership to align talent acquisition strategies with business objectives. The ideal candidate brings expertise in recruiting technical and professional talent within manufacturing, chemical, engineering, or related industries and is passionate about delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.

This position reports to the Director of Human Resources and operates in a dynamic manufacturing environment and collaborates regularly with plant operations, engineering, technical, and corporate teams. Occasional travel may be required for recruiting events, career fairs, plant and office visits, and industry networking activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Talent Acquisition
    • Serves as the sole Talent Acquisition Partner for the company, leading end-to-end recruiting operations and hiring strategy by managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, onboarding, employer branding, and partnership with business leaders to meet organizational hiring goals.
    • Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce needs, organizational goals, and talent requirements.
    • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates for technical, professional, and leadership positions.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to management on hiring practices, labor market trends, talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and workforce planning.
    • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment
    • Utilize multiple sourcing channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, professional associations, industry networks, employee referrals, universities, technical schools, and recruitment agencies.
    • Conduct candidate assessments and facilitate structured interview processes to ensure high-quality hiring decisions.
    • Prioritize and partner with hiring managers on interview techniques, candidate evaluation, and offer negotiations.
  • Talent Advisory & Employee Development
    • Foster strong working relationships that enhance employee engagement, retention, productivity, and organizational culture.
  • Employer Branding & Talent Marketing
    • Support and enhance the organization's employer brand through recruitment marketing initiatives, social media engagement, career fairs, industry events, and community outreach programs.
    • Represent the company at recruiting events, universities, professional organizations, and industry conferences.
    • Develop innovative sourcing campaigns and employment advertising strategies to attract diverse and qualified talent.
  • Analytics & Process Improvement
    • Track, analyze, and report key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, candidate conversion rates, and quality of hire.
    • Leverage recruitment analytics and labor market intelligence to improve hiring outcomes and workforce planning efforts.
    • Drive continuous improvement and standardization of recruitment processes, tools, documentation, and best practices.
    • Participate in HR and talent management projects that support organizational effectiveness and growth.

Qualifications

  • Required:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
    • 5–10 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition or recruiting, including full-cycle recruitment.
    • Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, manufacturing, chemical, or industrial positions.
    • Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, candidate assessment methods, and recruitment best practices.
    • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HR Information Systems (HRIS), and digital recruiting tools.
    • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and social media sourcing platforms.
    • Strong understanding of employment laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements.
    • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence hiring managers and build trusted partnerships across all levels of the organization.
    • Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Preferred:
    • Advanced degree or professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
    • Experience within specialty chemicals, chemical manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, engineering, architecture, or professional services organizations.
    • Experience with workforce planning, employer branding, and recruitment marketing initiatives.
    • Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS platforms.
