About the role
Caterpillar’s Large Power Systems Division (LPSD) product teams deliver world class products across commercial and machine markets that bring the best value to our customers while achieving business commitments. We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner that can be effective as a full lifecycle recruitment advisor in both high volume and high technical roles within the division.
Responsibilities
- Counseling hiring managers regarding recruiting strategies and practices that support the goals and direction of the organization; leveraging data to drive decision-making.
- Sourcing, pipelining, phone screening, scheduling interviews, making offers, performing pre-employment screening, and communicating orientation and start date plans for new employees.
- Utilizing the applicant tracking system (ATS), Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tools and industry leading sourcing technologies to deliver the most qualified candidates for current roles and building strong candidate pipelines for future roles.
- Developing plans for sourcing appropriate and diverse candidates, conducting the interview process, and extending offers to selected candidates.
- Collaborate across the organization, talent acquisition community, and business segment to support Caterpillar at recruitment events and programming, as well as community outreach initiatives.
- Partner with business leaders and HR team members to develop and maintain effective relationships across Engineering, Manufacturing, and other LPSD teams.
- Provide back-up recruiting services within the LPSD team and for other regions as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of talent acquisition experience, preference for high volume recruitment filling welding, machining, heat treat, material handling type roles.
- Familiarity with ATS and CRM systems like Workday or Beamery.
- A strong understanding of brand standards and marketing/communication best practices for content creation for internal and external facing mediums.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
- Understanding of the importance of remaining aware of shifting market priorities and ability to respond to internal and external customer needs in a manner that consistently adds value.
- Knowledge of the benefit, selection, implementation, and operation of various recruitment channels (e.g., computer databases, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firms and employee referrals); ability to use appropriate channels to achieve objectives of organizational talent strategy.
- Knowledge of techniques, methods and processes of candidate screening; ability to preselect suitable candidates for first and further interviews within the organization.
- Knowledge of techniques, methods and channels of candidate sourcing; ability to attract and qualify candidates for immediate job vacancies or as potential long-term job candidates.
- Knowledge of standards, processes, techniques and methods used in staffing and recruiting; ability to identify, select, retain and relocate qualified personnel, both internally and externally, for a wide range of positions.
- Knowledge of human resources (HR) and workforce issues and trends; ability to analyze workforce data, information and metrics and apply the results to support business decisions.

Pay
$89,210.00 - $133,810.00
Schedule
This position requires working onsite five days a week.

- Travel requirements may be less than 10%.
- The position is located in Mossville, IL.
