Talent Acquisition Manager
About the role
As the Talent Acquisition Manager for the US at sunday, you will architect the company's growth by filling seats and building the talent pipeline that fuels our next chapter of expansion. Reporting directly to the Talent Director, you will work closely with hiring managers, the People team, and our leadership to drive volume and quality in full-cycle recruitment across various functions.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruitment across the US - from intake call to signed offer - across all functions (Sales, Ops, Tech, and beyond).
- Source proactively through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking events, universities, and unconventional channels to build a strong, diverse pipeline well ahead of business needs.
- Partner with hiring managers to help define role requirements, share market insights, coach interviewers, and align faster, ensuring every hire is a great one.
- Optimize recruiting operations by designing and iterating on efficient, data-driven processes, tracking key metrics, and using them to continuously raise the bar.
- Champion the candidate experience by ensuring every candidate - hired or not - leaves with a positive, lasting impression of sunday.
- Build our employer brand in the US by representing sunday at career fairs, industry events, and through social media and employer branding initiatives that make us the company top US talent wants to join.
- Scale the recruiting function by documenting processes, coaching interviewers, and laying the groundwork for a recruiting team that grows with the business.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in fast-growing startups or scale-ups, operating in ambiguity, hiring at speed, and never compromising on quality.
- A proven track record of building and owning recruiting processes from scratch, including pipelines, tools, reporting, and the trust of your hiring managers.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, moving without being asked, making decisions with incomplete information, and thriving with autonomy.
- Strong sourcing skills beyond job boards, reaching passive talent and building relationships before you need them.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, pitching our mission to candidates, navigating tough conversations, and aligning stakeholders across teams.
- Based in or willing to relocate to New York, with the right to work in the US (we do not sponsor visas).
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with ATS platforms (Screenloop, Greenhouse, Lever, or similar) and recruitment analytics dashboards.
- Background in hospitality tech, fintech, or SaaS startups.
