About the role

As the Talent Acquisition Manager for the US, you will drive volume and quality in full-cycle recruitment across various functions including Sales, Operations, Tech, and beyond. You will source proactively through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other channels, partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, optimize recruiting operations, and champion the candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruitment across the US - from intake call to signed offer - across all functions.
  • Source proactively through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other channels.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, share market insights, coach interviewers, and align faster.
  • Optimize recruiting operations by designing and iterating on efficient, data-driven processes.
  • Ensure every candidate - hired or not - leaves with a positive, lasting impression of Sunday.
  • Build our employer brand in the US by representing Sunday at career fairs, industry events, and through social media and employer branding initiatives.
  • Scale the recruiting function by documenting processes, coaching interviewers, and laying the groundwork for a growing team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in fast-growing startups or scale-ups.
  • A proven track record of building and owning recruiting processes from scratch.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: moves without being asked, makes decisions with incomplete information, and thrives with autonomy.
  • Strong sourcing skills well beyond job boards - reaches passive talent and builds relationships before they need them.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills: pitches our mission to candidates, navigates tough conversations, and aligns stakeholders across teams.

Qualifications

  • Based in or willing to relocate to New York, with the right to work in the US (we do not sponsor visas).
  • Experience recruiting across multiple US markets (New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles) and/or internationally (France, UK).
  • Hands-on experience with ATS platforms (Screenloop, Greenhouse, Lever, or similar) and recruitment analytics dashboards.
  • Background in hospitality tech, fintech, or SaaS startups.
  • Experience coaching hiring managers on structured, unbiased interviewing.
