Talent Acquisition Manager
About the role
The Talent Acquisition Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for the Bank's talent acquisition function. This position leads and develops the recruiting team while remaining actively engaged in full-cycle recruiting for senior, executive, and other critical positions. The role partners with business leaders to develop talent strategies that align with organizational goals and workforce plans, serves as a trusted advisor on recruiting and compensation matters, and drives continuous improvement across the recruiting lifecycle.
Responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies, building talent pipelines, enhancing the candidate and hiring manager experience, managing recruiting technology and external vendor relationships, monitoring recruiting metrics, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and organizational policies. The Talent Acquisition Manager also leads recruiting initiatives that support organizational growth, including mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic business initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a talented recruiting team while actively participating in full-cycle recruiting, particularly for senior, executive, and critical positions.
- Partner with business leaders to align talent strategies with organizational goals and workforce plans.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on recruiting, compensation, and hiring decisions.
- Develop sourcing strategies and build talent pipelines.
- Enhance the candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Manage recruiting technology, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and external vendor relationships.
- Monitor recruiting metrics and translate data into actionable insights.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational policies.
- Lead recruiting initiatives supporting organizational growth, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Manage the department budget and oversee recruiting projects.
- Navigate complex talent challenges, market conditions, and hiring decisions.
- Professionally de-escalate challenging situations involving candidates, hiring managers, or stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Five (5) or more years of corporate recruiting experience, including recruiting for professional, senior, or executive-level positions.
- Three (3) or more years of experience leading, coaching, or mentoring a talent acquisition team or recruiting function.
- Demonstrated success sourcing passive candidates using multiple techniques and building talent pipelines.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and hiring managers as a trusted recruiting consultant.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices, employment laws, and selection processes.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting technology.
