Talent Acquisition Lead

The Talent Acquisition Lead oversees full-cycle recruitment across the organization, supervising a team of Talent Specialists. They also design, implement, and manage talent programs like internships, mentorship, and onboarding initiatives. This role works closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders to ensure a consistent and scalable talent acquisition experience.

  • Directly supervise, coach, and develop a team of Talent Specialists.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for recruiting-related issues, candidate experience concerns, and hiring manager support needs.
  • Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development for Talent Specialists.
  • Conduct regular performance feedback, goal setting, and development planning for direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Team Supervision & Development:
    • Directly supervise, coach, and develop a team of Talent Specialists.
    • Serve as the first point of escalation for recruiting-related issues.
    • Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development for Talent Specialists.
    • Conduct regular performance feedback, goal setting, and development planning for direct reports.
  • Talent Acquisition & Strategic Recruiting:
    • Lead full-cycle recruitment for roles ranging from individual contributors to VP levels.
    • Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to conduct needs assessments, define role requirements, and build customized recruitment strategies.
    • Research and share external market trends to ensure positions remain competitive.
    • Manage and optimize relationships with contingent and retained search firms.
  • Program Development & Management:
    • Design, launch, and manage structured talent programs.
    • Build and maintain strong pipelines through networking, sourcing, referral strategies, and use of the applicant tracking system.
    • Partner with business leaders, HR, and other stakeholders to identify program participants, define roles, and ensure meaningful learning experiences.
    • Continuously evaluate program effectiveness and drive improvements based on feedback and outcomes.
  • Operations, Process Improvement & Employer Branding:
    • Oversee job postings and ensure job descriptions and external branding align with Patelco’s employment value proposition.
    • Leverage technology and data to improve pipeline quality, candidate experience, and time-to-fill metrics.
    • Lead or contribute to cross-functional talent acquisition projects, including ATS enhancements and process optimization.
    • Support employer branding initiatives to strengthen Patelco’s reputation as an employer of choice.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including corporate recruiting.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising or leading recruiting or HR teams or large scale HR projects.
  • Experience designing, launching, or managing talent programs such as internships, mentorships, or onboarding initiatives.
  • Strong proficiency with applicant tracking systems, sourcing tools, databases, and social media recruiting.

Target Base Pay

$105,000 - $131,250 / yearly
