Talent Acquisition Lead
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and have an ability to accurately track and record cash flow. This candidate should have experience in maintaining a database of financial information and be able to recognize and solve any problems that may arise. Lastly, where appropriate this candidate will track 1099s and create a report with related information at year end.
About the role
This is a full-cycle recruiting leadership role for someone who's comfortable wearing two hats: one day sourcing leasing consultants and maintenance technicians for a new community opening, the next day running an executive search for a regional or corporate leadership hire. You'll own the recruiting function end-to-end — strategy, process, and execution — while partnering closely with property and corporate leadership to make sure Ovation always has the right talent in the pipeline.
What You'll Do
- Lead full-cycle recruiting across a mix of hourly, professional, and executive-level roles spanning property management, leasing, maintenance, and corporate operations
- Build and manage a recruiting function that scales with a growing multi-property portfolio, including sourcing strategy, process design, and reporting
- Partner with hiring managers and property leadership to understand staffing needs and translate them into strong job postings, sourcing plans, and interview processes
- Manage the candidate experience from first outreach through offer, keeping things fast, professional, and personal
- Track and report on key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, cost-per-hire) to leadership
- Help shape employer branding and recruitment marketing to support Ovation's growth
- Mentor or manage recruiting support staff or coordinators as the function grows
What You Bring
- Experience recruiting and managing a recruiting function, ideally within property management, multifamily real estate, hospitality, or another industry with a similar mix of hourly and professional/executive hiring
- A track record of running high-volume hourly recruiting (leasing, maintenance, service roles) alongside more strategic professional and executive searches
- Strong relationship-building skills — you're just as comfortable talking with a maintenance tech candidate as you are with a regional VPF
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting metrics
- A proactive, organized approach and the ability to juggle multiple open roles across different levels and locations at once
