Talent Acquisition Intern

About the role

The Chefs' Warehouse, Inc. combines exceptional quality and brand building with broadline food service distribution for over 40 years, servicing discerning chefs with a hybrid approach of convenience and superior quality. We are seeking a driven, responsible intern to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of our daily routines and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone inquiries, direct calls, and provide basic company information
• Oversee mail deliveries, packages, and couriers
• Perform administrative duties, take memos, maintain files, maintain calendars, and organize documents as needed
• Assist in preparing information and research materials; create and maintain PowerPoint presentations
• Take notes and memos during meetings; type documents, drafts, and reports; sort and manage files
• Run general industry‑related errands
• Manage databases and input information, data, and records
• Research and gather documentation on the company’s position in the industry
• Set up, break down, organize, and maintain conference rooms, training rooms, and meeting rooms; update company calendars
• Attend company functions and networking events
• Shadow multiple office positions and train in a variety of tasks

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college in Junior or Senior year (at least 18 years of age)
• Degree should be business related (e.g., Business Administration, Management, etc.)
• Availability to work a hybrid schedule 40 hours/week throughout summer break

Pay

Pay Type: Hourly; Hiring Min Rate: 18 USD; Hiring Max Rate: 20 USD

Schedule

Part‑time position; Either Tuesday or Thursday in‑person at our facility in Ridgefield, CT 06877, USA; Availability to work a hybrid schedule 40 hours/week throughout summer break.
