About the role
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports critical recruiting and onboarding functions across Empath Health, serving as a key partner in physician onboarding, contingent workforce coordination, candidate sourcing support, and talent acquisition operations.
Responsibilities
- Support sourcing efforts by identifying and engaging candidates through various channels, while partnering with recruiters to build and maintain talent pipelines as needed.
- Aid in recruitment operations, including job postings, hiring events, referral program administration, and general process support.
- Assist in the onboarding process for newly hired physicians, ensuring a seamless, positive, and professional experience from offer acceptance through start date.
- Act as the central liaison between Talent Acquisition and key onboarding partners, such as credentialing, IT, legal, and clinical education teams, coordinating timelines and ensuring timely completion of all onboarding requirements.
- Coordinate intake, tracking, and follow-up for contingent workforce needs, partnering with internal teams and external vendors as appropriate.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; some college coursework in Human Resources or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, sourcing, onboarding, credentialing, or HR operations required.
- Healthcare experience strongly preferred, particularly in supporting clinical or multi-site environments.
- Experience supporting physician or provider hiring and onboarding strongly preferred.
- Previous sourcing experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS systems (Workday preferred), and Microsoft Office applications.
Qualifications
- Education and/or Experience: High School diploma required; some college coursework in Human Resources or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
