We’re seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant for a 6-month contract role (may be extended) at a leading organization in Upstate, NY.

Pay & Schedule

  • Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
  • Shift: 1st shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with some flexibility

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recruitment, retention, and workforce planning solutions to meet short-term and long-term staffing needs.
  • Creatively source qualified candidates using traditional and non-traditional channels, maintaining a robust pipeline of talent.
  • Conduct candidate outreach, exploratory interviews, and build relationships for current and future opportunities.
  • Manage the full recruitment life cycle, including job postings, resume reviews, candidate screening, scheduling interviews, and composing offer letters.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring clear communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Track and report recruiting activity using systems such as Ultipro eRecruitment.
  • Partner with business units and HR leaders to assess and fill human capital needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Participate in the design and optimization of recruiting policies, programs, and initiatives.
  • Provide expertise on recruitment processes and support the continuous improvement of talent acquisition strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or related HR functions.
  • Strong sourcing, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), preferably Ultipro eRecruitment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable collaborating with internal stakeholders and adapting to evolving business needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required).
