Talent Acquisition Business Partner (6 Month Contract)
About the role
This is a contract assignment for 6 months focused on candidate sourcing. The Talent Acquisition Business Partner is a critical member of a high-performing team responsible for powering the future of Qualus by managing the first stage of the recruiting process.
Responsibilities
- Source, qualify, and prescreen candidates for various opportunities.
- Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g., LinkedIn and Indeed).
- Craft and send recruiting emails.
- Coordinate with the talent acquisition team to determine position requirements.
- Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g., Boolean search).
- Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
- Provide talent insight and feedback on market conditions to build a recruiting strategy.
- Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
- Ask for referrals from external networks.
- Promote talent and employer brand online and offline.
- Maintain candidate databases via the Applicant Tracking System and talent community.
- Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3–5 years of recruiting or sourcing experience.
- 3 years of passive candidate sourcing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Stellar interpersonal and communication skills.
- Motivated team player; self-starter.
- Effective time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to independently adapt quickly to changing priorities and complete critical tasks with a sense of urgency.
