Position Overview

The future of aerospace innovation starts with the people behind it. As a Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you'll serve as a strategic recruiting advisor responsible for developing and executing university recruiting initiatives that attract top emerging talent.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with target universities, career services teams, faculty members, and student organizations.
  • Develop and execute campus recruiting strategies designed to attract top early-career and technical talent.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for internship and early-career positions, from sourcing through offer acceptance.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on talent market trends, candidate profiles, and recruiting strategies.
  • Screen, assess, and present qualified candidates aligned with business needs.
  • Create and execute candidate engagement and "keep warm" strategies throughout academic recruiting cycles.
  • Lead campus events, networking initiatives, career fairs, information sessions, and student outreach activities.
  • Promote the organization's culture, mission, and career opportunities to strengthen employer brand recognition.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through proactive communication and transparent recruiting processes.
  • Utilize recruiting metrics and data insights to drive talent acquisition strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records within applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Ensure compliance with recruiting policies, university guidelines, and hiring regulations.
  • Collaborate with enterprise and sector recruiting teams to support broader university relations initiatives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance recruiting effectiveness and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition Recruiting and/or University Relations, or a Bachelor's Degree with experience in Talent Acquisition Recruiting, University Relations, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government clearance.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing full-cycle recruiting through offer acceptance.
  • Previous corporate recruiting experience.
  • Experience supporting internship, university recruiting, or early-career hiring programs.
  • Proficiency with Workday and Eightfold recruiting platforms.
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers and business leaders in strategic workforce planning.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience utilizing recruiting metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Passion for building talent pipelines within technical, engineering, or aerospace-related fields.
