About the role
Amkor Technology is seeking an experienced recruiter to join our team at corporate headquarters in Tempe, AZ. The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for full-cycle recruitment across all corporate functions, including engineering and sales for Amkor US (ATI). The ideal candidate will bring operational excellence to talent acquisition while contributing to process improvements, onboarding, compliance, and cross-functional project initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Proactively source and identify candidates aligned with position requirements, core competencies, and Amkor’s culture.
- Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline to support current and future hiring needs.
- Conduct thorough screening and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and organizational fit.
- Foster strong internal partnerships by demonstrating a customer-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Support Amkor’s corporate internship program and university relations initiatives by attending career fairs, coordinating lunch n’ learns, and other activities as needed.
- Facilitate onboarding activities through Amkor systems and processes, including new hire orientations.
- Promote open positions through strategic job board partnerships and advertising channels.
- Conduct professional reference checks and background screenings for prospective hires.
- Lead and contribute to special projects and recruiting initiatives, including the evaluation of best practices in talent acquisition.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Participate in employment law compliance activities, including EEO-1 reporting, ITAR, and E-Verify processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; HR certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, with exposure to diverse sourcing strategies and tools; experience in the technology or semiconductor industry preferred.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business leaders and employees to meet organizational goals.
- Strong sense of urgency and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to support process improvement, compliance, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to identify and interpret trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to interpret and communicate changes in employment laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SuccessFactors is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in a multinational organization, with exposure to supporting global teams.
Schedule
This position has a hybrid schedule. Candidates must reside near the local Amkor office or be willing to relocate to be considered.
