Talent Acquisition Associate

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Sources, screens, and presents job offers to candidates
• Develops sourcing strategies and builds rapport with hiring managers
• Enhances job descriptions to attract top talent
• Negotiates compensation with hiring leaders and candidates
• Executes recruitment events and candidate pre-hire activities
• Ensures an inclusive candidate experience
• Guides managers on recruitment best practices
• Maintains regular communication with hiring managers
• Participates in TA team projects for innovation and improvement

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, or a related field
• 1+ years of recruitment experience or equivalent
• Professional workplace communication skills
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work at least one day a week at an Itron Center of Excellence in Liberty Lake, WA
• Proficiency in common workplace software and applications
• Experience with modern sourcing tools and applicant tracking systems (preference for Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter)
• Experience using early career job and event systems (Handshake, Symplicity, WayUp, Yello, or related tools)
• Experience owning recruitment-related projects and/or programs
• Understanding of ethical AI use in recruitment

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience working with or for a recruitment/staffing agency
• Understanding of modern communication tools for reaching early career stakeholders and contract workforce

The base hourly rate is $28.85- $55.29.
