Tag & Title Clerk

About the role

Join our team as a Tag and Title Clerk in a dynamic retail environment where every interaction counts. This full-time position offers a starting base compensation of $18.82 to $24.07 hourly, with actual pay adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors. The role is eligible for incentive pay, averaging $162.00 - $580.00 per month.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday: 8AM to 6PM
• Saturday: 8AM to 5PM
• 37.5-hour work week
• No Sundays

Responsibilities

• Process driver’s license and vehicle registration applications.
• Answer and provide guidance on state-specific regulations for driver licenses and vehicle titling/registration.
• Up-sell and cross-sell AAA products such as new memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals.
• Handle incoming overflow calls for Roadside Assistance during peak volumes.
• Serve as backup for cashiering and IDEMIA services when applicable.

Requirements

• Previous sales and customer service experience, with a focus on driving results and exceeding expectations.
• Working knowledge of Motor Vehicle Title systems or prior tag and title experience preferred.
• Effective written and oral communication skills for engaging customers and articulating AAA membership value.
• Proficiency in navigating multiple websites and programs in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Notary Public designation or ability to obtain and maintain it within six months of employment.
• Ability to complete all required training workshops for Title Service Agents.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results, including criminal, drug, and state/vendor-specific screenings.
