Mettler‑Toledo’s New Jersey unit, Troemner, is located about 15 miles from Philadelphia in Thorofare, NJ. Acquired by Mettler‑Toledo in 2016, Troemner has been manufacturing weights since 1840 and offers a legacy of excellence. The state‑of‑the‑art facility produces weights and a full line of laboratory equipment such as shakers, hotplates, and vortex mixers, providing unmatched measurements and metrological analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement of goods and services including raw materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Manage vendor relationships, prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure quality and timely receipt of products.
• Prepare RFQs and purchase orders.
• Monitor deliveries and expedite orders.
• Negotiate contracts and review bids.
• Manage vendor performance and records.
• Resolve issues with defective goods.
• Maintain inventory and purchasing systems.
• Support product development and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
• SAP experience preferred.
• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient with office and computer tools.
