Tableau Senior developer

About the Role

HCLTech is seeking a highly talented and self-motivated Tableau Senior Developer to join our team in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Holmdel, NJ, requiring 3 days in the office.

Responsibilities

• Develop Tableau dashboards, scorecards, and analytical reports for finance and executive leadership teams.
• Analyze large financial datasets to identify trends, risks, and business opportunities.
• Design and implement interactive dashboards for Budget vs Actuals, Forecast Accuracy, Revenue Growth, and Profitability analysis.
• Integrate data from Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, SAP, and cloud-based platforms.
• Optimize Tableau dashboards and SQL queries for performance and scalability.
• Partner with FP&A teams, Finance leaders, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reporting solutions.
• Create executive-level dashboards and present insights through effective data storytelling.
• Support month-end close, quarterly forecasting, and annual planning cycles.
• Mentor and lead junior developers and BI teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and business intelligence reporting.
• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI monitoring.
• Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Tableau Prep, SQL, and data visualization best practices.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data quality management.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile environments and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting FP&A teams and Finance leaders.
• Skilled in creating executive-level dashboards and presenting insights.
• Proven mentoring and leadership experience.

Pay

Pay Range: $105,000 - $184,000 per year. A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
