Systems Test Engineer - Level 2 or 3
About the role
The Systems Test Engineer will synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions, developing and directing comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules. They will coordinate integrated testing activities, review and evaluate test requirements, and perform technical analysis of complete systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for completing systems.
- Coordinate integrated testing activities.
- Review and evaluate test requirements to ensure completeness of test program.
- Perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepare comprehensive system level evaluations.
Requirements
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at the time of application.
- For a Level 2: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of relevant experience; 0 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree.
- For a Level 3: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of relevant experience; 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree, or 1 year of relevant experience with a PhD.
Qualifications
- Experience with ground system software deployment, integration and testing in complex, layered, cloud-based environments.
- Understanding of requirements decomposition, verification activity planning and execution.
- Ability to collaborate with software development teams to ensure understanding, reproduction steps, resolution approach.
- Proactive identification of software issues, performance of troubleshooting and root cause investigation in support of generating detailed problem reports and engaging in rapid, collaborative resolution.
- Experience with Scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash), Git, Containerization (Kubernetes, Helm), and Java.
Skills
- Current Security+ certification.
- Adjudicated and active CI Poly.
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Expertise/understanding of Robot Framework and AWS.

Pay
Annual salary ranges for this position are as follows:
- Basic Level 2: $83,400.00 - $125,200.00
- Basic Level 3: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00
Schedule
This position requires being onsite and does not support remote or hybrid work.
