Systems Technician II
About the role
The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a mission-driven, organized, and personable administrator to manage the installation and maintenance of computers, servers, and network hardware, and provide on-site response to help desk requests that support business operations and projects furthering the goals and objectives of the YMCA of Greater Richmond.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of computers, computer servers, and network hardware.
- Provide second-level on-site response to help desk calls.
- Analyze and recommend technical requirements to support business operations and projects.
- Evaluate and recommend hardware and software, and support cybersecurity programs and tools.
- Maintain inventory of Technology Department equipment and software licenses.
- Perform systems analyst functions to manage and assist with organizational projects.
- Supervise interns and staff.
Requirements
- High school degree or its equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years of related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
- Project management experience necessary.
- Microsoft Certified Professional credential, A+, and HTML certifications and experience desirable.
- Working knowledge of MS Server platforms, Hyper-V Virtual Machines, and backups.
- Experience operating within a secure domain.
- Thorough experience with PC and related software in a network environment, including PC repair and technical operations.
- Analytical skills critical; ability to organize and administer tasks as well as recommend alternatives.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Must be available to work or be on call evenings and weekends.

Pay
Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000
