About the role
Dioxycle is pioneering breakthrough carbon utilization technologies that convert industrial emissions into sustainable chemicals. We are currently working on developing our electrolyzer technology and need a Systems Technician to support experimental tests.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade test benches, including instrumentation, piping, and controls
- Wire, install, and troubleshoot sensors, actuators, valves and pumps
- Write documentation for changes to our system
- Perform chemical analyses on solutions using techniques such as titration, conductivity measurements, and related analytical methods
- Support the execution of experimental campaigns: prepare reagents and electrolyte solutions and handle chemical products safely
- Actively foster a culture of safety in the lab
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering degree, or similar experience
- Ability to lift 35 pounds and work independently in a dynamic environment with a proactive approach
- Knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems
- Hands-on experience with sensors, actuator, and basic electronics troubleshooting
- Basic mechanical knowledge to assemble and repair components on test benches
- Comfortable working with international and diverse teams
Qualifications
- Nice to have: 1+ years of wet lab experience (internship, laboratory, or other)
- Experience with Python, C-code, or other languages
