Electronic Systems Technician

Responsibilities

• Install/service residential systems and/or small to mid-sized commercial accounts
• Accurately complete installations and/or servicing with frequent to minimal supervision
• Troubleshoot basic systems of assigned types
• Utilize skills in basic wiring, panel programming, and system set-up
• Check for, and correct, any errors in work and paperwork
• Display professionalism when interacting with and communicating with peers, manager, and customers
• Train and mentor technicians: Review work of Entry Level technicians on shared job site and provide training to correct any errors

Requirements

• HS diploma or equivalent
• 1 - 3 years of industry experience (preferred)
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving history
• Certified Alarm Technician level 1 or equivalent (preferred)
• Completion of minimum training/certification checklist required per Technician Career Path

Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate with various individuals in a professional manner in order to provide superior customer service
• Must be able to understand technical functionality of various systems learned on-line and/or via hands-on instruction
