Systems Technician | 2nd Shift

System Technician Responsibilities

• Operates automated assembly and C.N.C machining Equipment according to Supervisors direction.
• Rotates throughout the assembly and C.N.C machining process and assist each member of the cell when needed.
• Performs all aspects of the cell including maintenance to optimize and maintain optimum production.
• Handles and pulls any materials necessary for the cell.
• Tests sprinklers according to approval laboratory guide lines.
• Sets up, adjust and qualify C.N.C equipment and perform all aspects.
• Inspects and packages sprinklers to Viking quality standards.
• Completes all necessary documents for both the Quality system and for production planning.
• Disassembles sprinklers and its components for salvage of parts.
• Identifies scrap and salvage and record such for inventory purposes.
• Cleans and maintains cell on a daily basis.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and software applications.
