About the role
The Systems Operations Associate facilitates the delivery of scalable process and product enhancements to Roku's content pipeline on behalf of key business stakeholders focused on business operations and service components. This role ladders up to the Platform Business & Revenue Operations group, which drives the vision, alignment, and execution of cross-functional workflows, tooling, and infrastructure needs for the content platform.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a partner to business stakeholders and technical teams, understanding their workflows to identify opportunities for improved data accuracy, consolidation, and process efficiency
- Own the accuracy and integrity of business operations data across core systems, ensuring stakeholders are working from a single, reliable source of truth
- Support data governance and compliance requirements, including SOX and audit readiness, in partnership with legal, finance, and product teams
- Complete quarterly gap analyses of as-is and to-be processes, translating findings into functional specifications for product and engineering
- Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to design and improve in-house systems supporting business operations reporting, data consolidation, and workflow automation
- Prioritize enhancements and net-new feature requests across owned product roadmaps
- Identify manual, error-prone, or duplicative workflows and drive automation initiatives that reduce risk and increase operational throughput
- Support stakeholders in testing and validation of new product features, data models, and workflows
- Develop and maintain documentation and training materials to support rollouts and drive tool adoption
- Maintain familiarity with upstream and downstream system integrations and assess how feature enhancements or data changes may impact business operations
- Support the maintenance of business and operational documentation in partnership with product and engineering counterparts
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in business operations, systems operations, or a related analytical/operational role
- Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, or other CRM/ERP systems
- Experience with data governance, data quality management, and SOX or similar compliance frameworks
- Comfort leveraging ticketing systems, reports, and dashboards (JIRA or Salesforce experience a plus)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
- Advanced Excel/data analysis skills; experience with BI or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) a plus
- Self-organized with a structured, detail-oriented approach to workflows and problem-solving
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
