Responsibilities

  • Administer and monitor Windows and Linux servers, including setup, patching, and backups.
  • Manage Active Directory, user accounts, and permissions.
  • Configure and troubleshoot network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Maintain secure and reliable internet connectivity; implement VPN and firewall rules.
  • Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Resolve escalated technical issues promptly and effectively.
  • Install and update software, antivirus, and security patches.
  • Aid with employee onboarding/offboarding (hardware setup, account creation).
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for configurations and procedures.
  • Support cloud services (Microsoft 365) and basic VoIP systems.
  • Cook up with vendors for hardware/software procurement and repairs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in server and network administration.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and security best practices.
  • Experience with cloud services and basic VoIP systems.
  • Basic understanding of data center operations and server management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the business.
