Principal Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical fabrication of metal panels using drill presses, saws, and various power tools.
  • Wire control panels utilizing a broad range of wire gauges, ensuring a clean, professional, and high-quality finish.
  • Set up and operate test equipment to validate functionality and troubleshoot panels as necessary.
  • Accurately interpret and work from mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Package, organize, and deliver assembled goods to the warehouse within designated timelines.
  • Maintain and update key performance metrics related to safety, quality, delivery, and inventory.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating with multiple Project Engineers.
  • Adhere to and enforce safety protocols and operational procedures at all times.
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Assist in process improvements and support operational efficiency initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the military or an electro-mechanical industry.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience using and handling handheld power tools safely and effectively.
  • A strong ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and symbols.
  • The capability to lift and handle materials up to 30 lbs.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with a proactive, self-starter attitude.
  • The ability to perform effectively under pressure, meet production deadlines, and maintain high-quality work standards.
  • The willingness to work overtime and weekends when necessary to meet project demands.
  • A strong ability to follow instructions and collaborate respectfully with colleagues and leadership.
