About the role
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our project team on behalf of a key client undergoing an enterprise-wide platform migration. This role applies advanced systems engineering principles to overhaul the client's legacy Workforce Central (WFC) implementation and transition it to a cloud-based UKG Pro environment.
Responsibilities
- Leads the end-to-end lifecycle of UKG Pro / WFM Dimensions migration from Workforce Central platform implementation, studying operations sequence, material flow, functional statements, and organization charts to determine worker functions and system responsibilities.
- Facilitates requirement gathering sessions and design workshops with business stakeholders, developing production and design standards and conferring with clients, vendors, staff, and management regarding specifications, capabilities, and project status.
- Develops functional designs and configures complex workforce requirements, including timekeeping, accruals, and advanced scheduling logic, consistent with developing labor utilization standards and cost analysis systems that promote efficient staff and facility utilization.
- Oversees and implements comprehensive testing strategies across enterprise and retail scale environments, including end-to-end and user acceptance testing, database validation, and defect triage, to ensure quality control and system reliability.
- Coordinates and drives quality governance objectives, activities, and procedures to resolve production problems, maximize system reliability, and minimize costs.
- Leads functional validation of REST APIs across point-of-sale, web, and mobile platforms in connection with enterprise workforce systems implementations, reviewing production specifications and related information to obtain knowledge of system requirements and testing activities.
- Designs and builds end-to-end cloud integrations natively leveraging the UKG Developer Hub using BOOMI for replacing legacy SQL-based Workforce Integration Manager.
- Executes WFM PRO Global Migration Project for all retail rollouts and mentors technical teams across North America, recommending process improvements for successful implementation and providing technical inputs to leadership for operational plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
- Over 10 years of designing, configuring, and domain knowledge of Kronos/UKG Products.
- Deep technical expertise across legacy WFC and UKG Dimensions/UKG PRO.
- Strong understanding of mapping old schemas to new WFM structures.
- Experience creating modern integrations in UKG Pro WFM from legacy WFC Product.
Benefits
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for benefits such as health insurance, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, and paid leave where required by applicable law.
