What You Will Be Doing

As the Systems Engineer - Skunk Works you will be responsible for supporting the team that integrates and validates mission-system functions across lab, flying-test-bed, and flight-test environments.

  • Develop test requirements and detailed procedures based on system specifications.
  • Execute integration and test activities in laboratory settings and evaluate system performance on flying test-beds.
  • Support mission-system flight-test evaluations and report results to stakeholders.
  • Interface with engineers, pilots, and program leadership using strong communication skills.
  • Apply expertise in modern software-intensive mission-system architectures and understand military aircraft functionality.

Further Information About This Opportunity

  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
  • This role requires up to 10-20% travel based on business needs.

Desired Skills

  • Experience in software life cycle logistics, including knowledge of build paradigms, merge request processes, and dependency/artifact management
  • Experience in creating release documents, and low-to-high transfer logistics
  • Experience with automation and CI/CD environments, including automation tools, Gitlab/Bamboo runners, and YAML
  • Experience with CAMEO
