About the role
The Systems Engineer, Senior position offers an opportunity to contribute to national security projects through the design, development, and evolution of complex systems. This role requires expertise in protocol analysis, scripting, and automation, as well as experience with various networking technologies.
Responsibilities
- Translate customer needs into technical specifications and designs
- Develop and maintain Kubernetes clusters
- Perform quantitative and qualitative testing of machine learning models
- Optimize network configurations for efficiency and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions
Requirements
- Experience with protocol analysis and scripting
- Linux installation, monitoring, and optimization skills
- Advanced knowledge of networking technologies like Ethernet, PCM, VSAT, and others
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or Engineering Management
- 14+ years of experience as a systems engineer, or 19+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Completed the Navy's Intermediate and Advanced Communications Signals Analysis Courses
Skills
- Protocol analysis using DVT or Wireshark
- Java development for process automation
- Linux system administration
- Kubernetes cluster management
- Networking protocols such as Ethernet, PCM, VSAT, OSI Model, and C2C structure

Schedule
