About the role
The Systems Engineer, Senior role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking to deliver impactful engineering solutions. You'll lead the design and development of systems tailored to customer missions, ensuring they align with advanced technological advancements.
Responsibilities
- Translate customer needs into technical specifications and plans
- Develop and maintain System Engineering Plans (SEPs)
- Write System Requirements Documents (SRDs) and Subsystem Requirements Documents (SSRDs)
- Design and develop systems hardware and software
- Manage configuration and risk throughout the system lifecycle
- Conduct design reviews and prepare for design review events
- Coordinate system integration and test evaluations
- Document test results and maintain documentation
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Systems Engineering
- Experience with Navy experimental research or weapon systems
- Experience with U.S. Navy weapon systems, sensors, and RF transmitters
- Clearance: Secret clearance required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification nice to have
- Experience with HPM programs, pulsed power systems, and requirements management tools
- Knowledge of MBSE and MOSA techniques
- Experience with combat system integration
- Ability to define system requirements and DRMs
- Experience with system safety and certification processes

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
