Job Description

You will be the Systems Engineer Project Lead Sr Stf for the Simulation & System Labs (SSL) organization which is responsible for delivering high fidelity simulation and HITL test products.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Systems Engineer Project Lead Sr Stf you will be responsible for leading the development of system integration laboratory products within a program portfolio, driving technical solutions in a fast-paced environment. You will partner with program management, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure technical integrity and successful delivery.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliveries
  • Lead and manage focus teams on the design, development, and delivery of high-fidelity simulation/HITL test products
  • Capture and manage team tasking
  • Identify and report technical issues
  • Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and cost targets to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery

  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Desired Skills

  • Degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering
  • Direct experience with lab build up, maintenance, update and operations for advanced fighter aircraft
  • Strong analytical and business acumen; skilled at interpreting technical data and creating actionable plans
  • Government Customer Presentation and Relationship Experience
  • Experience driving Performance with Cross-Functional Teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, prioritize competing demands, and deliver results under tight deadlines
  • Experience with government contract execution, technical reporting
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or Control Account Management (CAM) experience
  • Supplier Management Experience
  • Risk Analysis
  • Product Development and Integration Management experience
  • Team leadership background
  • HW requirements/design/build
  • Subsystem integration/verification
  • Sensor integration and/or weapons integration
