Systems Engineer II
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST. This role requires the engineer to be dedicated 100% on-site with one of our clients in McAllen, TX.

Who You Are
You are a reliable and communicative IT professional who excels in providing Tier I and II consultative support, adept at troubleshooting Windows server and networking issues while ensuring seamless client interactions. Your strong problem-solving skills and collaborative approach enable you to effectively coordinate with account teams and deliver tailored solutions that enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide tier I and II consultative client support
- Assist clients in troubleshooting Windows server issues such as Active Directory, DNS, VMWare, backup, DR, and common client/server applications including MS Office
- Assist clients in troubleshooting networking issues related to Meraki VPN/firewalls, Cisco routers/switches, and other Internet-related problems
- Assist clients in troubleshooting workstation, peripheral, and mobile device issues such as Office 365, Windows 10/11, standard and proprietary applications, desktop and laptop hardware, printers, scanners, fax devices, and mobile devices such as iPhone and Android
- Install, configure, and deploy workstations for end users
- Coordinate and work with the account team (account manager, escalation engineers, etc.) to make recommendations for the client
- Lift up to 50 lbs., pull cable, tie up wires, crawl on floors to reach equipment, and load equipment
Qualifications
The candidate must possess a relevant combination of education, experience, and training that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions.
Pay
Estimated starting wage range: $33.65 - $36.00 hourly, less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors such as experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria. Note that the majority of individuals in the position will fall in the low to mid-level of this scale; the upper end is offered only in exceptional circumstances and/or for unusually qualified candidates.
