About the role

Lockheed Martin is looking for a resourceful Systems Engineer to join the Systems Engineering and Integration Team. In this role, you will develop subsystem requirements documentation, create CAMEO models, support model-based systems engineering activities, and collaborate with the SEIT organization to deliver end-to-end integrated solutions. You will also contribute to verification planning, test development, and validation activities while fostering a value-driven systems engineering approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop subsystem requirements documentation
• Develop CAMEO models of the subsystem
• Support requirements writing, model-based systems engineering activities, and verification planning
• Collaborate with the SEIT organization to create end-to-end integrated solutions
• Facilitate design evolution in a systematic and thoughtful way
• Support development of test, modeling, validation, and verification activities
• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analyses, and supportability/effectiveness analyses for total systems
• Perform analyses at all levels of system product (concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal)
• Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
• Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree
• Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
• Ability to work onsite at our Valley Forge, PA or Littleton, CO campus
• Experience working with various engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, safety, test, etc.) to develop requirements specifications
• Experience with CAMEO and/or DOORS
• U.S. Citizenship required

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of Systems Engineering concepts and processes
• Experience writing requirements documentation and coordinating document release through approval processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build consensus and relationships
• Knowledge of DOORS, CAMEO, requirements, MBSE, and interfaces
• Experience in systems engineering within a defense or aerospace environment
• Experience coordinating Systems Milestones reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles
• Active Top Secret clearance

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $79,300 – $147,300
