Systems Engineer (Avionics)
What’s the Job?
Develop, integrate, and verify avionics systems for next-generation aircraft platforms
Support aircraft state monitoring and systems/synoptics applications
Perform systems/software requirements development, validation, and verification
Utilize model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools such as Simulink
Ensure compliance with DO-160, QUAL, and EMI standards
What’s Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Avionics and embedded systems experience
- Experience with DO-160, qualification, and EMI testing (HIGHLY REQUIRED)
- Familiarity with ARINC 661 (Scade preferred) and aircraft systems integration
