Systems Engineer
About the role
Veros Technologies delivers innovative cyber security, data analytics, operational engineering, and technical operations consulting services to enable Intelligence Community programs and operations. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for recognizing technical mission needs and providing end-to-end SE expertise to enable the customer to achieve mission success. You will be responsible for activities such as CONOP development, systems analysis and architecting, and verification and validation in order to ensure customer requirements are translated into comprehensive solutions, all while balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Responsibilities
- Recognize technical mission needs and provide end-to-end SE expertise to enable mission success
- Develop and implement new testing or operating environments
- Manage or support the product development lifecycle
- Communicate technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Poly
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship
- Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience or combination of education/experience) in a relevant field
- Experience: Job-specific experience performing in similar roles; required years of relevant experience varies depending on the role (for example, typically 3 years for Full Performance, 8 years for Senior, 12 years for Expert)
- Experience: Experience with software products and tools
- Experience: Extensive experience implementing new testing or operating environments to include developing implementation plans and gathering requirements
- Experience: Experience in managing or supporting the product development lifecycle
- Skills: Ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills
Desired
- Experience with the Federal Intelligence Community
- Familiarity with various customer databases
