About the role
Develop and integrate systems for current and future Drop-on-Demand (DoD) printers. Decompose customer requests into clear, actionable system and software requirements. Author and maintain functional specifications, software requirements specifications, and theories of operation for DoD printer systems. Work with software engineering to ensure requirements are well-defined and implementable. Facilitate requirements reviews with cross-functional stakeholders. Define and maintain system-level architecture documentation.
Responsibilities
- Experience with embedded firmware development (C/C++, RTOS) or electronic hardware design.
- Demonstrated experience with hardware-firmware co-design, PCB bring-up, and debugging.
- Ability to communicate fluently with software teams.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in an engineering individual contributor role within an industrial environment.
- Experience writing system specifications, software requirements, or theories of operation in a hardware/software product development environment.
