About the role

The Systems Engineer plays a crucial role in shaping Naval C4I sustainment and modernization efforts. They lead the best-in-class C4I engineering teams and are responsible for designing, developing, and evolving systems to meet the needs of the customer. They also support system upgrades globally and interact with senior military and government officials.

Responsibilities

  • Support C4I systems such as GCCS, NAVMACS, HF, UHF, VHF Radios and Antennas, Tactical Data Links 11,16, and 22, CENTRIXS, Network Communications, SATCOM, and ADSI as an engineer
  • Perform requirements analysis and fulfillment, including site surveys, system integration, and SOVTs
  • Construct, expand, administer, troubleshoot, and maintain Virtual Machine environments using VMware tools
  • Administer Cisco networking on routers, switches, and implement security controls on Windows Server, Exchange, and Active Directory
  • Install, modify, command-line interface, and administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, manage NAS and tape backup, and perform system restoration
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Troubleshooting Guides, and Software Installation Procedures (SIP)
  • Support C4I systems upgrades around the globe and work directly with senior military and government officials

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting C4I systems
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Systems Engineering and Technical Reviews (SETR) and system integration
  • Experience with Virtual Machine (VM) environment construction, expansion, administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance using hypervisors such as VMWare tools
  • Experience with Cisco networking administration on routers, switches, and implementing security controls
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system installation, modification, command-line interface, and administration
  • Experience with Network Attached Storage (NAS) and tape backup administration and system restoration
  • Ability to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Troubleshooting Guides, and Software Installation Procedures (SIP)

Qualifications

  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering

Skills

  • Microsoft Project, Sharepoint, Teams, and 365 tools
  • Model Based Systems Engineering such as Cameo and Magic Draw
  • Experience with C4I systems upgrades around the globe
  • Experience working with senior military and government officials

Pay

$86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD)

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
